What is BBL phototherapy?
A BBL phototherapy session uses broadband light (BBL) to target signs of aging, sun damage, and other skin irregularities. BBL delivers laser energy that’s absorbed by the targeted areas to stimulate the skin cells to regenerate.
BBL can treat:
- Brown Spots
- Freckles
- Redness
- Small blood vessels
- Aging skin
- Rosacea
- Loss of firmness
The energy penetrates the pigment in brown spots and causes it to slough off within 7-14 days. If you have redness due to blood vessels, the treatment causes them to close, revealing smooth, evenly pigmented skin.
What is SkinTyte?
The noninvasive treatment of SkinTyte is offered on the Joule™ X platform. It treats skin laxity, is effective for all skin types, and requires no anesthetic or downtime.
SkinTyte uses infrared light to deeply heat treatment areas, stimulating collagen production and cellular rejuvenation to firm up your skin.
What are Forever Young laser treatments?
Forever Young BBL treatments actually change the way your genes express aging. Treatments help your skin look smoother, clearer, and significantly younger.
The light therapy targets the signs of aging and sun damage, effectively rejuvenating your look.
What other laser treatments are available?
Warrenton Dermatology & Skin Therapy Center also provides innovative Fraxel® DUAL laser treatments to correct sun-damaged skin and stimulate collagen production to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and improve skin texture.
Fraxel technology targets the superficial and deeper layers of your skin to resurface your skin. The patented technology sends microscopic columns of laser energy deep into the skin, treating just a fraction of tissue at a time.
Because much of the surrounding skin is untouched, healing is quick but still stimulates your body’s own healing process to replace old and damaged cells with fresh, healthy ones.
Which laser treatment is right for me?
The team at Warrenton Dermatology & Skin Therapy Center takes into consideration your skin complaints and current health to create a customized treatment plan for you. They also evaluate your skin’s health, tone, and texture.
Some people benefit from just one session, but the majority of laser treatments are most effective when you commit to a series of sessions. Click here to view more examples of Phototherapy results.
